What Happens During a Closet Edit?
Your Closet Edit takes place inside your own wardrobe. Together, we'll work through your clothing, shoes and accessories to determine what works for your current lifestyle and personal style.
We'll create new outfit combinations from pieces you already own, explore different ways to style items you may have overlooked, identify pieces that no longer serve you, and uncover the wardrobe gaps that are making it harder to get dressed.
By the end of your session, you'll have complete looks you can actually wear and a clearer strategy for anything worth adding to your wardrobe.

During a Closet Edit with Styled by Lamara Chenei, we review your wardrobe, identify what works for your current body, lifestyle and personal style, create new outfit combinations, and determine where there may be gaps in your wardrobe.
The goal isn’t simply to get rid of clothes. It’s to create a wardrobe that feels more intentional, functional and aligned with the woman you are today.
How do I know if I need a Closet Edit?
A Closet Edit may be right for you if you have a closet full of clothes but still feel like you have nothing to wear, struggle to put outfits together, have experienced a change in your body or lifestyle, or feel like your wardrobe no longer reflects who you are.
It can also help if you find yourself continually buying new clothes without creating a wardrobe that feels cohesive or works for your everyday life.
Do I have to get rid of a lot of my clothes?
No. A Closet Edit isn’t about forcing you to get rid of everything you own. We evaluate which pieces still work for your body, lifestyle and personal style, which pieces could be styled differently, and which items may no longer be serving you.
The process is collaborative, and you always have the final say about what stays in your closet.
Will you help me create outfits using clothes I already own?
Yes. Creating new outfits from your existing wardrobe is an important part of the Closet Edit experience. We look at how your clothing, shoes and accessories can work together so you can get more use out of what you already own.
Many women don’t necessarily need more clothes—they need a better understanding of how to use the pieces they already have.
What happens if we discover I’m missing key pieces from my wardrobe?
If we identify gaps in your wardrobe, we use those discoveries to create a more intentional shopping plan. Instead of buying random pieces and hoping they work, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what your wardrobe actually needs and why.
